View 6 RepliesI have a samsung galaxy s5. My camera has very many resolution settings. I like taking photos in maximum resolution. But when I try to send the messages through a text message, sometimes I have difficulty with the size. So I have been taking pictures with a reduced resolution set at 2 gigabytes. How can I reduce resolution after I take a photo before I send it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've owned the nexus 4 and the nexus 5 now, I've always noticed something funny that happens with people I talk to about my phone (I also work at a phone kiosk). When people ask my opinion and want to know what phone do I personally use I say "The Nexus".. The responses I get are always " the Lexus?? ", "is that better than the galaxy" "is it made by Samsung", " how many megapixels is the camera"
Once a while I get a customer that has a nexus or knows all about it..those customers always have my full respect! But its funny that most people think galaxy is android.
i'm using Z2 from one year. Lately I noticed that when I take simple picture it is wide (not zoomed) but when I click record video it will instantly zoom a bit ( maby about 2Ocm) but it's clearly seen. For example when I take a picture of box and edges of it are close to edges of the phone screen then when I hit record video it will zoom and edges of box will be outside sight of the camera. Then you have to take one step back to be able to film whole box. Of course you can only zoom in during filming, You can't zoom out. When I hit stop record the screen will zoom out and you can take shot normal picture with whole box. My friend who has Z1 got the same issue. Is it normal? Because Samsung s5 or other phones which I used did not have such a problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have used Sony Ericsson phones for years and all my previous phones have had a feature on the camera whereby you could zoom in on a photograph you've taken, and then save the zoomed/close-up image as a seperate photograph.
If this feature exists on the Mini Pro, I certainly can't find it. I took a photo with the camera of something quite far away. The camera will let me zoom in on the bit of the image I want to see, and will allow me to view it, but I want to save the zoomed image. The far-away image is useless to me.
Resolution : 2M (minimum resoltion available)16:9It take each picture of above 600 kb.. so i take all memory of my sd card.

I'm having some really annoying issue with my phone, when I select the Network Mode to GSM/WCDMA (auto connect) it is working perfectly fine but as soon as I change to LTE/GSM/WCDMA (auto connect) I lost 75% of my signal.
Of course without activating LTE I cannot access the 4G Network which is a bit annoying.
I also tried to flash the latest modem for my phone g920i but it didn't solve the problem.
I'm finding it really annoying that sometimes when typing part of my palm hits the corner of the phone which brings up the multi task window. Is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of the keys?
It would of been good if they only work when hitting the centre of them and not the edge of the phone.
My display has zoomed in im I4s. I can scroll it to get to the top and two sides, but it will not scroll up to see the bottom. Seems to be some sort oif accessibility option, but I cannot find how to clear it. Does a factory reset clear all apps, music, photos etc? How else can I clear it?

For some reason the screen on the C5 I have is totally zoomed in, so I cannot see any features just letters which are as big as the screen, how can I get it back to regular zoom?
View 5 Replies View Relatedso every few days, my iphone's inbox will do this thing where it loads all emails "zoomed out" by default. In other words, the text appears super small on one side of the screen, and i have to double tap to zoom in in order to read anything. Sometimes, it won't even let me zoom in, which is even more frustrating. Restarting the phone usually fixes it, but I was wondering if anyone here knew why this was happening, or any other ways to fix it?
I'm syncing my inbox w/ gmail as exchange, if that helps.
I just noticed when you flick the switch from camera mode to video mode. In video mode the lens zooms in slightly.Has everyone got this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMaybe I'm just missing a setting somewhere, but how do I set wallpaper without being zoomed?
1. Wallpaper on my SD card or in the phone storage. When I pull up the wallpaper option on the menu (or long-touch a blank spot on the display), choose Gallery to display the pictures, and select a picture, the picture is displayed and looks perfect, except for a stretchable Zoom Box centered on a tiny portion of the picture. I can't stretch the zoom box to include the whole screen. The MOST I can select is about 1/4 or 1/3 of the screen. And I can't make the zoom box go away and just accept the picture as it is.
2. Wallpaper Apps.I've tried three different wallpaper Apps, including HD Backgrounds. Again, I can browse the wallpapers, but when I select a picture and have the App set it as the wallpaper, something causes the display to zoom in on a small portion of the picture.I have tried re-sizing pictures 1080 x 960 to 320 x 240 and all sizes in between, but nothing seems to help. How in the world do I get the phone to set the whole picture as the wallpaper without zooming in on a tiny portion of it?
Images in Safari always look grainy when zoomed in. On the other hand, text is always crystal clear. What causes this? Is there anything Apple can do to fix this?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just bought this phone a few days ago. I am very excited and start playing with the camera. after a few shots and a few mode change, the phone freeze and restart. then i open the camera app again it shows only black screen and a camera failed message
i tried using other camera app but it's no use. the phone has no warranty in my country so i could not have a replacement.
been to the samsung service center also but still no luck.
When I leave the camera app, my phone is apparently accessing my camera and taking a picture. The photo isn't saved in the gallery, but then I go into the task manager, I see a photo of wherever I was when I left the camera app. Is there a way to disable this?

Do you think that Apple made a calculated risk with it's new antenna design? Let's take the 3G/3GS.....the antenna is on the inside of the phone behind essentially an outer plastic shell. So a naked iPhone 3GS the antenna signal goes through 1 layer (the plastic back).
Do you think Apple had enough research and statistics to show that the majority of users put an iPhone in some sort of case, whether that case is plastic or silicone? So now on a 3GS, the antenna has to go through the plastic back, then a plastic/silicone case....now it's going through 2 layers. Do you think they determined that this combo caused a lower/weaker signal?
Now the iPhone 4....antenna on the outside. Do you think Apple took a calculated risk in knowing that most people put it in a case anyway (heck even Steve in one of his emails suggested using a case) and the fact they came out with the bumper....that they knew since most people would put a case on it....that the antenna being on the outside would provide a stronger signal?
Yes, the people who choose to go caseless with their phones are more easily affected by the issue, but since that may be the minority of users, Apple is ok with saying "Hold it differently"? We all know Apple does things based on what they "think" the majority of users will do....ie: no firewire on low end Macbooks.I don't know anything about antenna signals, so I'm just guessing here.....but if an antenna's signal is degraded behind each layer of plastic etc, then by moving the antenna outside, Apple is giving it a better chance at getting a stronger signal, even though there is a side effect of direct contact with skin that can cause the signal to degrade significantly.
Tests I would like to see are the difference in signal strength in a 3GS with the back on and the back off.
After an year of use, I am having problems with my iPhone 4. When I try to talk, numbers, mute button, etc, are being activated. Is anything I can do to reduce the sensibility of the screen?

I have tried most of the things I have come across on line. Does anybody know how i can go about reducing the size of the other folder on my 4s? At the moment it stands at 4.2gb. I have cleared alot of e-mails out of my inbox and i have deleted the history, cache and cookies and I have restored it also but to no avail etc. All these have i think had only a minimal effect on it. Find it hard to believe that it would be comprised of sms, calendar and contacts etc.
