I've recently bought nokia c2-00. it's been around 3 weeks and today, suddenly it showed 'message memory not ready' when i wanted to text
I connected to pc suite and still no response. haven't dropped it anywhere. memory card is ok, phone is showing contacts list.
Ever since I got my Nokia 2320 (which for some unknown reason is not listed on this site) back in December, it ran slow when I turned it on and took a few minutes (up to five) to what I call "recall the messages and remember it could send messages." But lately the time it takes to recall the messaging is longer and longer. A couple days ago it took me 27 hours. This time, its been 30. I read on another site about a guy who had this same message on this same phone and it had been 3 days and the problem had still not corrected itself. I want to know what is happening, why, and how to fix it. I called my carrier customer service and have been on the phone with them on and off for about a month about it. They have NO CLUE what it is.

When checking the size of the messages , it says 945 KB occupied, 83 KB of total free memory. I did already a "reset to factory defaults", but still, these SMS are still there. I really want to delete those. What can i do?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia C3-01 touch and type phone that I dropped this morning and ever since then I keep getting the error message "message storage memory not ready" when i try and go to my text messages. I have removed the memory card and done a software, hardware reset and a full phone reset and still doing the same thing.I have also check to see if there is a software update which there isn't.I can still make and receive calls its just the messaging i cant do.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have to admit that I been in love with my C5-03 since the first time I saw it. But unfortunately, the phone gave me real hard time.
1- I can't change the message memory to memory card. It works for a while, and then an error message pops out, statimg that "memory card not found" and that the phone will revery the message memory to phone memory.
2- The phone memory is almost full. I have 11.4 MB left, and I don't know what's filling the memory. I have 3 apps installed, 1 MB each, besides the default apps. Browsing the memory was of no help: almost all folders are empty. I tried emptying the browser's cache, but 11.4 MB is all I could have.
3- Nokia store and the web browser give me the "memory full" message after a couple of minutes of browsing, and then they close automatically, making them almost useless.
4- The battery life is not impressive. I have to charge the phone every 1-2 days even with light usage (15 min of calls, no Wi-Fi or music playing).
I love the phone and I've been having it for 6 months now.I have installed the latest firmware 2 months ago (v.20.0.024, version date 25-05-2011.

I have literally taken my brand new C6 handset out of its box a couple of hours ago, and the message icon was blinking although there are no messages at all in the phone.I have tried a factory reset and updating the phone software, but to no avail. The message icon is still blinking.This is now the second Nokia handset I have had with software problems (previous handset 5800 XM). After 10 years of only using Nokia handsets, I am going off them rapidly!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia C5-03 with the latest firmware, and now I managed to free 18MB of the phone memory, but when I try to determine a destination without tolls and with optimized routing for a distance of 300 km between the two cities it always says that the memory is full and to close some applications. When I use the navigation the only thing that is on is the Bluetooth but even when I turn it off it happens the same thing. Sometimes the phone restarts itself.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI've been loving the 5.1.1 update but the messaging app has been a mixed bag, I've seen others complaining about the greyed out texts with timestamp and it's great group chats work now, but the problem I have been having is that the group chat messages don't come through about 80% of the time, I got a message of "you have a multimedia message ready to be downloaded" then when I try to download it I get a failure message.

I have always set it to save my message in the Mass Memory but why, and I really don't know, now I get error messages saying the memory is full and when I check the damned thing has reverted back to the default setting of saving them on the phone memory.I HATE THIS BLOODY PHONE !

I'm trying to send text but its keep saying RESEND and when I check memory says messages 14kb to 26 kb even though its empty and after 2 3 times resend it says GENERAL: MEMORY FULL. CLOSE SOME APPLICATION AND TRY AGAIN.But in ma cell its 48mb space free
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my 9860's Memory card. I bought the phone on July 2012, and it work perfectly before. Until this couple of days it started to have problem. I just upgraded my Os to os 7.1 bundle 2061 (v7.1.0.714, platform 5.1.0.532) last week. And after that I felt the error started to appears. It happened to my wife's 9860 also. luckily I cold manage to restore the picture and file. And today the problem occur again. The picture in my media card are showing when I open the library, but when I open the file it got corrupted or it showed correctly and then disappear from the screen.

After I restored my files from Desktop Manager I went to Application Loader to see what I wanted to take off or put on. I removed all the foreign language stuff and added a few items. When I clicked next I got an error message saying there was not enough memory in my device. This is crazy since I have 117 MB of free application memory. I am using Desktop Manager v. 4.7 that worked fine for my Storm 1. Do I have to use v5 for the Storm 2, or is it some other problem.

Whenever I try to view pictures, through the camera or gallery, I get an error message that reads, "Phone memory is full, not enough memory to start application. delete some files." Because of this, I have had no access to any of my pictures.
I have deleted many files and do not think there are more that can be deleted without losing things that I need. I have deleted some apps from the phone. How do I clear the cache on the phone?
I press on my favorites icon on the top menu on the homescreen and it brings up my contacts in there. I select a contact and it gives me 3 options, 'call', 'message' and 'view in contacts'. If I select view in contacts is brings up an error message saying 'Contacts: Memory Full. End some running applications and try again'. I have no applications running at all and this is my only request. Do you know how to resolve?

I put it back and that error message comes again and again . My memory card is SanDisk 2gb and was working properly till a few days ago. Strange because sometimes the memory card works for a few hours than stops working and says the error message.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't get D2G to read an e-mailed .pdf document. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Reader several times. I have removed and reinstalled the battery several times (seems like a pretty lame fix, but it works sometimes). I have unmounted and remounted the sd card. I open the document in page layout and I can see, but can't read, three of five pages. When I turn the phone to view in landscape mode I get the message "Error: Out of memory". I get same error message if I try to expand a page in page layout using the touch-screen. I can view it from desktop computer so I know the file is not corrupted. I have 12 page documents in my D2G messaging folder I can view w/ no problems at all.

Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.
