BlackBerry :: Recover IMEI Number (without The Device)
Dec 6, 2011
My Bold 9000 was stolen and I did not write down the IMEI number. In order to report the theft to the police, it would be very helpful to have the IMEI. Actually, I thought that this number was stored within the backups that I made (using the Desktop Manager). But I could not find anything like the IMEI number in the files.
Is there a chance to recover the IMEI from some log files? Where would I have to look?
Is it possible for RIM to recover the IMEI when I provide them with the PIN? I am a private customer, not a business customer, and did not operate the BB via BIS or BES.
I have lost my iPhone and was searching the internet on how to find it. I can track my phone and lodge a complaint in the police station but for tracking it I need an imei number. I looked in the devices panel and found out that I didn't have a backup of it. So is there any way of retrieving my IMEI number via iCloud backup?
I had a Blackberry Curve 9380 Mobile, I lost it yesterday. I am unable to get the IMEI Number as I dont have the Invoice copies with me. I have my Blackberry Pin registered with Blackberry Protect. With this Is there any possible to get my IMEI number of my handset.
Recently i recovered my blackberry which was reported lost to my carrier (o2 uk) I rang them back up to unblock it and they said with blackberrys i have to allow up to 90 days before it is unblocked again. Has this ever been the case with anyone else and does it usually take this long?
Yesterday I bought a brand new Xperia X10 mobile with android 2.1 packed on November 2010 at a SONY Gallery in chennai. After unboxing the mobile, and initial settings, I could not either make a call or receive a call. The showroom guys made a call to Sony support and said, I need to wait for two days as the IMEI numbers are not unlocked yet. I was terribly disappointed since I cannot use the mobile for another two days. But today I just wanted to make a try and inserted my SIM and checked if i can make a call. To my surprise the call was working. I was happy that the phone is activated.
But after 45 minutes, now again I am facing the same problem. The calls are not working. Neither I am able to receive the call nor I can make a call.
I live in Brazil. I bought an iPhone 4S WHITE 16GB GSM-USA from you this year. The serial number is: C39******TD1.My daughter had this cell phone stolen form her today. We do not have the IMEI number and other IDs of the device. We understand we need these numbers to block or cancel the device or report it to the police. I have reprinted the invoice but there is no such number on it. How can I get those numbers? And how can I block the device?
My trusty N95 was stolen (by a security guard no less). He disappeared and is now using the phone. He sent an email to someone from my gmail account which was set up on the phone (and configured to always copy me). I've changed my email log in password etc. BUT I really would like to block that phone. But I'd had it for so long that I don't seem to have the IMEI number stored anywhere. I have my old back-ups and photos etc. Is the IMEI stored in any of these and how would one retrieve it?

My personal details are liked to itune, icoud .. even my lost iphone has a good connection with apple.com. don't they keep device detail anywhere in the linked page properties?, options..??
OK so i feel like i have tried everything and i cant seem to find my BB bold 9000's IMEI number anywhere! I bought and used this Blackberry new in South Korea with SK Telecom, never any issues.but now im back in the US and am wanting to unlock and use it here.the only problem is that i cant find the IMEI number anywhere.when i try *#06# it comes up and says "unsupported file"and options> status shows only: signal battery file free PIN IP address now there IS a white sticker under the battery with a barcode and appears to be 15 digits long, BUT it has a few letters mixed with the numers and something tells me thats not it?
My iphone 4 has been stolen and now police are asking for IMEI number to trace the same. I got the serial number from my apple id but dont have IMEI no. I tried looking in itunes but in backup (in preferences - Device tab), it is showing only my phone number and not giving IMEI number.
I have bought new i phone 4s and have deleted everything from old i phone 4. I did not make a note of imei number and do not have original box. How do I now find imei number so I can sell old phone 4?
Basically, my iphone has been stolen and I did not have 'Find my Phone' downloaded beforehand. I think I might have found someone trying to sell it, after a long time researching and I was wondering if there is anyway of identifying it. I therefore was wondering if the IMEI number, serial number or the part number was specific to the phone as I still have the box with these on.
I've had my blackberry since August of 2010. I learnt as much as I could and there was still much more to learn! About a month ago my phone was stolen from my home. The police are working on tracking it but....IT'S BEEN A MONTH!
Recently I was made to understand that there is a number under the battery that can be used to track the black berry even if it is off. My question is: since I no longer have the BB in my possession is there a way for me to get that number?
A friend forgot his phone in the bus on his departure. He called ma immediately from the airport informing me about the same, so I called the bus company...and certainly "there was no phone". I went today to the police to report it, so they could track it down, however I was told by the police guy, that as far as it was basically lost, despite that it was lost on the bus and from there it just "vanished", they will not search for the same. He was telling me that I should claim it back from insurance if I did one...if it would be only the phone is one thing, but there were the pictures of the trip and quite some other personal datas, so it is more becuase of that.
The phone was purchased just before the visit, and the friend did not register it through "Find my phone". I was told today that I can enter manually the IMEI and search for location of the phone, as I am pretty sure that the phone is still in the country.
