BB Storm 9530/9500 :: Application Loader Wizard Not Installing
DL DM 5.0 and installed. Using desktop pc running Vista.DM starts and a window pops up stating "The Application Loader Wizard requires the BB Device Manager to be installed. Please contact customer support." Then the Updater Checker starts running and won't stop. That's where I am at with this.
Any idea what customer support I am suppose to contact, so tired of this, guessing RIM CS.Have searched forums and web on this issue and can't find it addressed.Anyone one else come up against this issue and found a fix?

BB Storm 9530/9500 :: DM Does Not Have An Application Loader As An Option
is that my DM does not have an application loader as an option. with my pearl, as soon as i installed DM from the CD it automatically was an option in the DM. But with my Storm's DM CD, application loader is not present. the only options i see are "backup and restore", "Device switch wizard", and "synchronize". Am i suppose to download it separately somewhere? and if so where? I've search everywhere and have no luck. To everyone who gets annoyed about not using the forums search button: i used it but did find anything that relates to my problem.

i am having a problem whuile operating the blackberry desktop manager after connecting my handheld. it says "handheld application loader wizard has encountered a problem and needs to close.we are sorry for the inconvenience". im unable 2 do anything on my device except take a back-up.

I have been trying for a VERY long time to download an operating system. Every time the Application Loader Wizard does not detect the blackberry. It also does not let me check the box to detect it automatically. The Blackberry Desktop Manager recognizes the BB and its pin but the app loader wizard does not.

BB Storm 9530/9500 :: Device Switch Wizard Worked With Palm Data?
All of my contacts are on a palm desktop. Imagine my disappointment to learn that my storm can not sync with it. Well it did once using the Device switch wizard. Now that tool does not run. I guess it is intended to be used only once. I tried moving all contacts to Outlook via .csv import. So many contacts are jumbled that I might as well start over. When the Palm Device Switch Wizard did the import, everything came over fine. I want to be able to use it again. Should I delete all entries from my storm and try again? If that fails then I am really screwed. Any suggestions?

BB Bold 9700 :: Application Loader Not Installing
I am trying to upgrade my OS through DM. I went to click upgrade after connecting my 9700, and it pops up "application uploader needs to be upgraded." I tried installing it as it advised, 5 times already and it still pops up the same message. I tried uninstalling and installing DM again with the latest version but it is still happening. Any clues on how to fix this? My computer is Win7 64bit Sony.

BB Storm 9530/9500 :: App Loader Device.xml Backup Unrecognized?
I just installed OS .151 using the App Loader and selected all the apps that I wanted to backup, but after the installation wizard, a screen pop up and shows that it was not able to restore all information to my storm. At the end, it says that a backup have been done and I have to restaure information using DM. I had problem trying to doing this because the backup was .xml not .ipd. Is there another way to restaure information instead of DM, because it seems that it doesn't recognize the .xml file.

Having problem by always getting this message: Your BlackBerry Application Loader needs to be updated before your can continue. Do you want to update now? [Yes / No] .... and it's looping! I click YES, and followed all the update steps until finish (even I restart my laptop to be safe), then when I wanted to use the Application Loader, it tells me again that it needs to be updated !!! on and on and on ... until I gave up. BB Storm 9530/9500 :: Where To Find App Icon After Installing?
I just installed the blackberry app world on my Storm running Telus OS 4.7.0.122 and for the life of me I cannot find the icon. I checked the applications in advanced options and it shows it being installed so I tried to re-install it and still something I cannot find it at all. Checked downloads app center, downloads folder, applications folder and nothing.

i have the storm 9530 v 4.7.0.148 nd am trying to install app world. i did the install to 1.1.0.20 and after rebooting i click on app world and i says to reinstall which i have done numerous times and it still keeps doing the same thing. i can't get to app world. anyone have any ideas what i can do?

I got my new blackberry about 3 weeks ago and I have been having trouble with installing the desktop manager, can anyone help?I have not found anything that works online yet.Problem: After downloading DM (from Verizon direct, I gave up on my disk), the install stops and gives the error message: error1327.Invalid Drive:F:I currently am running on Windows XP. And don't actually have a Drive F. I have found that this could be a windows installer issue, but have not been successful in finding a fix that works.

BB Storm 9530/9500 :: Storm Application Memory Low
Just got my BB Storm a week or 2 ago and downloaded 2 new apps (ScoreMobile and WeatherEyeTouch) as well as the BB App Store. I removed a couple of the stock apps that come included on it and I am already down to <200 kb!! I see posts from people saying they have 10, 20, 30 apps and from what I have seen there is no way to save them to the SD card. Someone let me know if there is anything that can be done to free up some space and if this even sounds like a normal problem?

I am using an unlocked 9530 Storm on T-Mobile, prior to unlocking the phone the AIM application was there, after I unlocked it, it vanished, nowhere to be found! I do not currently have data/internet on the phone right now and can't redownload it over the air, the main AIM web site download doesn't seem to work, I come to the screen where it says Next and clicking it does nothing? (Downloading via desktop computer) nyone know why it disappeared / how I can get it back / where I can download another version of it. R does it not even matter because can the phone not run AIM without data? my previous phone the Pearl ran it fine via the program without data.

BB Storm 9530/9500 :: Application Memory At 0.0KB
Yesterday my app memory was at like 27 MBs, and i haven't downloaded anything new since then, how can it just go to 0 like that? Plus, I have minimal stuff on my storm, way less than most people on here. I just don't understand it. Oh and another question. what is the difference between app memory and device memory? Since I have like 878MB of free device memory(and it says i've only used up like 1 or 2 MBs of device memory.

I am a regular Crackberry Forum reader, and I have checked this topic several times, but I can't seem to find anything which has really helped me. When I reboot my device (battery pull), I never have more than a 24.5 application memory available for me. I can't figure out how to bring that up. I have eliminated all but 8 applications from my home screen (the two rows like I read was helpful). I do not run a lot of applications at one time... but even after the battery pull I don't have a lot of memory for my Storm. I was reading a few people who were sayinng they had 40+... and I have no Idea how to get that much appliaction memory. Also, I run my memory cleaner twice a day, it helps but not that much. I really have to do a battery pull at least once every two days, and sometimes up to twice a day if I use a lot of programs.

BB Storm 9530/9500 :: Not Enough Application Memory
For the Storm, can someone help me figure out how to put all of my third party applications on my media card or device memory in a way that doesn't bring down my application memory. I can't download anymore applications because it says there isn't enough memory. My application Memory Free is currently 0. My device memory free is 874.5 MB and my Media Card Free space is 7.2GB.
