BB Software :: Bluetooth Pairing Code On Windows 7?
Mar 12, 2010
I have previously paired my Tour 9630 with my Widows 7 laptop. At one point, Windows 7 prompted me to enter a pairing code or let it generate one for me. I foolishly let it generate on and got an archane 8-digit code which I entered on my BB and connected.I was fixing the driver issue and was instructed to remove my laptop from the list of devices on my BB. When I tried reconnecting, it asks me for a pairing code. The code it generated previously didn't work. I've even tried 0000 and other possiblities. I did finally get it connected by deleting on the PC and reinstalling it and the manual drivers. But this is a lot of work. What I cannot find out how to do is to change the pairing code for my Windows 7 laptop to something I'm likely to remember!
I am unable to pair my Torch 9860 with my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Laptop (the laptop is Fujitsu AH530/GFX). I have:
1. Reinstalled the BB Desktop Manager several times; 2. I reinstalled the Bluetooth drivers several times 3. Reinstalled all Windows features 4. Enabled all ports and communication services in Windows and Windows Firewall 5. I deactivated and reactivated by anti-virus
The Torch recognizes the laptop but the laptop doesn't recognize the Torch. I've been on the Fujitsu website and reinstalled all the drivers.
I want to connect my xperia pro to my car audio system. (Bluetooth of my car audio system has a pairing code) when I want to connect, the page of entering pairing code not appear and an error will appear in screen ("wrong pairing code").
I friend of mine just bought an iPhone 4S unlocked. He doens't have an internet plan yet, so I decided to pair my iPhone 3GS via bluetooth to share my internet connection. But to our surprise, neither of our iPhones could "find" each other. How can that be? I shared my iPhone connection with my Macbook, Mac mini and iPod touch by bluetooth pairing and it always worked.
Have an iPhone 5 with IOS 7.1.2 and MBA with IOS 10.9.4I can not pair them via BTWhen the MBA finds the iPhone it sends the numeric code which is received OK by the iPhone. When I accept it the iPhone is listed as Connected in the BT menu of the MBA. For a couple a seconds. It then shows as not connected. In the phone the MBA is listed as NOT CONNECTED, of course. When I touch the MBA in the list of devices of the Bluetooth screen in the iPhone a pop-up tells me the MBA is not compatible. I have tried with airplane mode, turning BT off and on, and several combinations thereof with no result.
I have an E71 phone purchased from UAE and was working pretty well till i got the phone updated to the latest 510.21.009. The phone started giving problems thereafter.Initilly i found the phone not responding after installing whatsapp. I removed that program and the phone was fine. It restarts in between without any reason. The latest problem is that the bluetooth pairing menu is missing in the bluetooth option. It used to be a secondary tab on the right hand side of the main menu. Now its missing.
I have an iPhone 3GS running OS4. I recently purchased a Billionton bluetooth audio receiver that is supposed to connect with the iPhone through bluetooth and has RCA line-level outputs to connect into my stereo. The idea was to be able to listen to music on my iPhone wirelessly through my home stereo.
I cannot get the iPhone to "discover" or find the bluetooth receiver. I have connected wireless headsets to my iPhone in the past and all I have had to do was put the device in pairing mode and the iPhone would automatically find it once I entered the bluetooth menu on the iPhone. I tried my wife's Blackberry and it seemed to be able to pair and connect to the receiver without problem.
The receiver is a Bluetooth v1.2 compliant, Class 1 Radio. It supports A2DP. The model of the receiver is a Billionton GMHSBTAR.
I am unable to pair my device to my new Ford vehicle SYNC bluetooth system. When I search for the pin number that SYNC sends me and I enter that number into the block the block directly under the pin number block reads "empty" so I have no way to send back to SYNC the pin they have sent me in order to pair my device to the SYNC system in my vehicle
Since I installed the latest build 2.1.A.0.435 I am unable to use my Sony headset MW600 with my X10. I tried calling myself or dialing out to locate the bluetooth button but have been unsuccessful at this moment.
I got my G3 back in February - within about a week of getting it, Lollipop came through & I never felt the need to do a factory reset since everything was working fine. But being the curious creature that I am, I've been wondering if anything would be different if I did a FDR, so last week I did one.
Tonight when I tried to pair my heart rate monitor again, instead of double-checking what password I needed to re-pair it with my phone, I guessed wrong. It's not coming up with an option to put in the password again, just asks me Yes/No if I want to retry after it fails.
Any way to get the "enter password" option again, without doing another FDR?
I just got my G4 and I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth pairing. I have a 2011 sonata and I can pair it fine but my it won't download my phone book, also when I have it dial a number it drops people. I got a Bluetooth stereo that won't pair with it keep getting a bad passkey or id number. These all worked fine with my G3 and had no trouble.
I purchased an Iogear USB Micro Adapter Model GBU421WM to try and transfer things from my computer to the phone. After updating the Bluetooth software and trying several times to pair my phone with my computer nothing would happen. It would sit with the serial number window up even after I typed the serial number in several times.I have tried making the phone see the computer and vice versa, and nothing has worked yet. Yet it does know the phone is there and the phone talks to the computer. Just pairing will not occur. So my question is: Is it even possible or am I missing something to make my phone/computer talk through Bluetooth.I have a StraightTalk Samsung R451C Phone.
I used to pair my iPad2 with my iPhone 4S (both iOS 5.1) using Bluetooth. Not working anymore.I can pair the iPad to a BT keyboard; 2) The connection was usually started from the iPad; 3) The iPhone doesn`t always find Bluetooth devices around (the other day, a rented car BT recognized my iPhone and I was able to pair them); 3) Both the iPad and iPhone do not find my iPod touch (iOS 5.1; 64 Gb)...
I have a different problem than I've seen here, all of the BT posts seem to be about difficulty pairing or having a phone and a BT device auto-connect.
My issue is that after connection... even after making calls successfully... my phone and my car will to stop communicating. Both devices continue to indicate they are still paired... but calls do not come in through the car, nor can the calls be initiated through the car's controls. Thusly, the stereo remains on (sometimes loudly) and I miss calls when the phone rings. The connection is gone, even though both devices never reported loosing it. This happens about 30% of the time when I'm in my car more than 15 minutes or so.
I have a 4S running iOS 5.1... this is my third iPhone and my last. It is the 2nd iPhone I've used in this car... a 2011 VW CC. I've also had no issues with other BT 4.0 phones, a blackberry and a samsung.
Additionally the genious bar has replaced my phone once already, even though they couldn't find any hardware issues. Subsequently they did a complete reset on the replacement, again finding no hardware issues. It was then set up as a new phone, and not restored from a backup. Volkswagen has tested the car's BT unit against their test iPhone 4 with no issues, even after leaving it connected for the duration of a 20k service.
I just purchased a Zoom 4322 (bluetooth adaptor) for my Canon iP100 printer. My MB pro late 2011 running 10.7.4. MBP saw the printer immediately and connected. However my iphone 4s running 5.1.1 doesn't see the printer with the Zoom 4322.
I am having some trouble trying to connect my E6-00 to some devices through Bluetooth. For those devices I get messages such "no device support" and "impossible to connect" after providing the password to pair them. At this moment, the device I am trying to connect is shown at E6 list as paired, but the connection is not possible. It does not happen to all of them.I installed all updates available through Nokia Suite, but the problem was not solved.
My 2006 BMW X5 comes with a bluetooth handsfree feature. It used to pair and work with my iPhone very well. Now, I am off the iPhone and much happier with my Atrix. However, the bluetooth doesn't work too well. I can pair the phone with the car fine. However, the phone keeps constantly disconecting and connecting (like every minuto or so), which makes it unusable with the car's handsfree. I know it is not a problem with the car (it still pairs fine with the iPhone) nor with the phone (it pairs well with my bluetooth headset). It's just the combination that is bad. I've read somewhere else that BMW's are tricky and several android users are having trouble. It seems that android lacks a handsfree profile required by BMW. Anyway, is anyone having the same problem? Any ideas of what can be done? (I've already unpaired all phone from the car, repaired, removed the battery from my phone, etc, etc, etc).
Recently purchased a 6760 slide and it does not seem to retain its pair on my car bluetooth. Previously had a blackberry and this worked fine everytime I started the car. Everytime I get in the car and want to use bluetooth I have to register the 6760 phone and basically start from scratch. I thought it may have been the technology in the car kit, but friend just tried their brand new blackberry and it connects and works fine all the time. The car kit is built into the car stereo so is relatively new.
I have an E71 and was using an old earphone for handsfree in car. Although the headphone is not high quality, it worked perfectly and I was well pleased. I attempted to use it recently but was surprised to find that my phone couldn't "see" the earpiece anymore. I have done the obvious things in bluetooth settings and even tried pairing another earpiece but still no joy.
I have a E63 set and an inspiron 1440 laptop. I want to pair my phone with my laptop but whn pairing completes, it always says that "all drivers not found" . usually it is the bluetooth modem that is not installed. I am attaching an image;
I have a Bold 9700 and a 2005 BMW 530.When trying to pair the 2 via bluetooth, the device is not even acknowledged in the pairing process. No device is found. The pairing worked with my previous BB Curve, BB Bold and current iPhone.
I'm having trouble pairing my Bold 9700 with my computer. I did it once, but had to take it off, and now I can't redo it. I have Windows 7 64-bit. When I try to pair it with my computer, it says it cannot find the driver and only recognizes it as a modem. It doesn't recognize that I'm actually pairing a Blackberry device. As a result, I cannot add it in the Desktop Manager. Got the desktop manager to recognize it. Seems like that was just luck, and everything does seem to work. However, my computer says there is problems with the device as it cannot find 2 drivers. It actually doesn't work at all. It's clearly driver related. It only recognizes it as a modem and a bluetooth remote. Nothing blackberry related. (When I use the USB, it's fine). Just another small problem, every time (or almost) that I connect my phone to my computer and open the Desktop Manager, it tells me some sort of Chinese character support needs to be updated. However, when I tell it ok, and it rechecks to see what needs to be updated, it says no new updates are available.
I'm having problems pairing the BlackBerry Bold 9700 (on Vodafone) with a Visor Go. I've set the headset into pairing mode, and the BlackBerry lists it. It also lists the available services. The BlackBerry then asks if I'd like to connect to the device. When I select 'Yes' it throws an error saying "Connection to Visor Go failed". I'm pretty clued up with phones and managed to pair an iPhone to it. But for some reason the BlackBerry just doesn't like this device. I've tried everything I can think of, like rebooting the device, setting Trusted to Yes and No, deleted the device and found it again (multiple times). Is there something I'm missing, or is it just a case of incompatibility? I'd imagine it is compatible because it finds it and knows what services are available.
I just upgraded from a curve to the bold & am having difficulty pairing with the bluetooth system in my 2010 camry. The carrrier (Sprint) says it's the car; the dealer says it's the phone. On pairing, both the phone & car see one another & indicate successful pairing. They just don't connect.
I'm having trouble getting my X10 mini pro to pair with my laptop via bluetooth so thought I'd post here for some help. I've no problem connecting via USB.In 'Settings' -> 'Wireless & Network Settings' -> 'Bluetooth Settings' -> 'Bluetooth Devices' my laptop is visible, and underneath it says 'Pair with this device. When I press that I have a Bluetooth pairing request, which says 'To pair YOUR PC, confirm that it is showing the passkey: 123456' (number changes each time). I choose the 'Pair' option but keep getting back 'Attention - There was a problem pairing with YOUR PC because the pin or passkey is incorrect.' How do I enter this passkey? I get the feeling there's a simple solution to this that I'm missing. I've paired the phone with both the MBS 100 and 200 with no problems at all. The laptop is a Sony Vaio and bluetooth is definitely on - is there a compatibility issue between the two?
I recently got a Lumia 1520 and i can pair the bluetooth to my car but it never reconnects automatically. Next time I am in the car i will manually go to connect and then it will fail and ask me to pair the next time i click on my cars bluetooth name. Also it thinks its a reaction headset. When i am connected to it, in accessories it still says its disconnected.
