BB (RIM) :: Alternative To Using Junk Piece Of Software?
do other ppl hate Roxio Media Manager that installs with the Blackberry Desktop Manager software. Is there an alternative to using this junk piece of software? When I run it, it lags my entire system and I cannot even use it. When/if it actually stops lagging, it takes ages to copy something to/from my pearl! Why would RIM think this piece of crap software is useful in any possible way?

IPhone :: No Junk Filter - How To Deal With SPAM?
I am being inundated with SPAM on my iPhone. I use .Mac for email and I get probably 40-60 junk mails a day, at least. BB Curve 8350i :: Is Connects USB Junk?
My phone was working and just quit. My wifes 8350i connects by USB fine, but mine does not. I did all the resets and a wipe of the phone. Nothing is working to get the USB to work. Is the phone junk? With out the USB I can not load any service books for boost.

BB Bold 9700 :: How To Delete Unwanted Junk
Alright, so i figured this out while messing around with the phone this morning here at work cuz i was bored outta my mind, and these stupid junk icons/apps were bother me. Even though i have them hidden, i wanted them gone! So while scrolling thru the 9700 books (Options>Advance>Service Book)I notice the names of the junk apps. I wondered if i could delete them, and sure enough u can. (BB Button>Delete)They were gone.I went thru and deleted all the stuff i didn’t want. Went back to my home screen and into the folder where i had them, did the show all option and sure enuff they were gone.So i thought what if they’ll come back once the device reregistered on tmo's network, so i did a quick pull, let it load up and lo and behold they were still gone.Obviously the next thing i did was make this thread.Hope this continues to work, and works for the rest of u berry users.

BB Bold 9000 :: Duplicate Junk Icons
Does anyone have duplicate XM Radio and Yellowpages icons? How much application memory do these launcher apps occupy? I seem to have a ton of them, shop this and that, at&t mall, pac-man, and more keep appearing almost everytime I reboot!I created a hidden junk folder for these icons, but it bugs me that I can't just erase them. Besides debranding, any fixes?

Nokia N900 :: Email From Allows Goes Into Junk Folder?
I have set up an Hotmail email account on the N900. All is fine with recieving emails, but when I try to send an email from the phone it allows goes into the junk folder.I have set a few test emails to Hotmail accounts and Outlook accounts, but all appear in the junk folder.Can anyone help me with this problem?

IPhone :: How To Filter Junk Email On Device
I have an iphone (3g) and iMac and mobile me. I have 3 email accounts (me.com, gmail, comcast). I am getting all the mail to my imac and my iphone. So essentially I'm looking at all my email, even junk, twice. I don't want to do that and I don't know what my options are and how to change them. If I look at the mail on my iMac I don't want to see it on my iPhone. How do I go about that?If I somehow change my iPhone to only get the mail manually will it still download stuff I looked at on the iMac? I get about 100 pieces of actual mail per day not to mention junk so I'm spending a lot of time deleting.Lastly is there no way to filter junk on the iPhone? After I did the jailbreak, went back into Cydia, there has tons of apps I don't know.Since the jailbreak process has been done, can I delete all of them? Any of these should keep? Nokia :: N97 / 3S Email App / Receiving Junk Texts
Recently I tried 3s email service using the Seven Application they provide.Since then, I keep getting Text messages on my phone from "Email" with the text "\wma:4010\" and then a long string of random letters and numbers.I reinstalled the email application and discovered I still had an email account active on there so I deleted it.This only started since I installed and subsequently remove 3s email application.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this as it's getting very annoying receiving these "Junk" Texts.

IPhone :: 3G - Delete Junk And Just Download Important Stuff To Macbook?
I have an iPhone 3G and am using version 2.1.3 of Mail on my MacBook Pro (OS 10.4.11). My mail account is currently POP but I can also have it with Push facility. I keep my main mail account and archive on the MacBook but really appreciate being able to check my mail during the day on the iPhone, delete the junk etc, and then just download the important stuff to the Macbook at a later time. However, whatever I delete on the iPhone is not reflected when I download to the MacBook - it downloads everything, junk and all. how I can change my settings etc to achieve this? BB Pearl 8110/20/30 :: Removing Unwanted Junk Browser Icons
I have had my pearl for just under two years. I have never had this situation come up before. I was on a trip and did a google search for a particular restaurant location and phone number. Next thing I know, I have a half dozen or more unwanted "shop" browser icons. Shop Ringtones, Shop Themes, Shop Games etc.. When I returned home, I connected to the desktop manager to see if the application loader showed these items. It does not. Can someone tell me what to do to uninstall these things? I can hide the icons but I would really prefer them to be removed.

BB Bold 9000 :: Junk Email Not Being Filtered - BES Server
We are currenty using Outlook 2003 and existing email client filters mean that end user's junk and spam email are sent automatically to the junk email folder on the desktop.I have recently wirelessly configured a Bold 9000 handset for one of our staff and they have notice that items being filtered to her desktop junk email folder are showing up on her BB handset. I have also noticed something similar happening with some junk email messages, but not for all of them.We are running BES configuration with Blackberry Manager version 4.1.6.14 Any thoughts on: 1. If this is something that occurs with the Bold 9000 handset only. I ask this as I have recently upgraded my handset from the 8100 and didn't notice this happening until I got the Bold 9000 2. What is the best resolution to make sure everything that goes to the desktop Junk email folder is not displayed on the BB handset

BB Bold 9000 :: Removing At&t Junk Apps Easily
I just found this and thought I'd share. If this is common knowledge, oops.If you go to options, advanced options, applications, press the blackberry button and select 'modules' you can go in and remove most of the excess junk that at&t installs that you can't delete, like 'shop ringtones', 'get att navigator', etc. I usually throw all that junk into an at&t folder, but thought that was kinda cool.I was able to get rid of 15 - 20 things that I'm sure were just wasting space and memory.

BB Storm 9530/9500 :: Free Junk Bundled With Phone
I just got my storm last week and have searched with no success to my problem. My phone came with a bunch of junk and icons that I dont want (google chat, yahoo messenger, etc). I dont want this crap. How do I get rid of it? Someone suggested clicking the blackberry button and choosing delete, but "delete" is not an option. Please help and forgive my newbie-ness.

Motorola :: Razr V3xx - Keypad Not Working / What Junk This Phone Is?
What junk this phone is. Bought "new" from att two months ago never dropped or mishandled, in or by water, moisture, etc. Past week the keypad froze but yet the on and off key would work. Called Att after all the bull with the tech support they are going to send a "refub" Super {word filter evasion}. Now I see many of you have the same problem and even more problems with this hunk a junk phone. Word to the wise stay clear of this junk and don't buy this phone period. How that buy new have a problem send another problem phone. I'm thinging about a class action lawsuit.

Motorola :: Removing Junk From Phone / Failed Permission Denied
I searched through 26 pages of messages on this forum looking for the answer and I can't find it. I want to get rid of all that junk that came pre-installed on my phone. ATT Mall for one thing, I can't buy anything on it anyway! But I want to get rid of the MySpace, the TeleNav, the Weather thingy and all that other junk. I was Able to browse to that folder on my phone and also on my PC connected to my phone but each time I tried to delete it I got the error message: 'Failed!Permission Denied' Denied? On my own phone? I can't do whatever the heck I want on my own phone? Like I said, whenever I try to download anything on Media Mall or anything else it says that my phone is not even supported so why are these things on here? I want them off! Surely someone has a way to do this? The folder I was browsing is: Windows/Start Menu/ I am on the Moto Q Global and running Windows 6.

BB Bold 9000 :: Get Rid Of Bunch Of Junk Java Folder?
net_rim_bb_crypto_api.cod. I am about to upgrade my bold to .266 and want to get rid of a bunch of junk in the java folder. I was doing this with my 8310. Do i still need to delete unwanted "crap" like languages, voice recorder (i dont use those) before i load .266 Or should i just delete the vendor files and load .266.

Samsung :: SCH - U740 Junk - Ringtone Doesnt Play Fully
I would never get the SCH-U740 AKA the Alias. The phone is faulted beyond belief if you get a firmware update to it, the ringtone doesn't play fully. Also their is a issue where it does a continuous scroll, where it is mad hard to scroll through the menus you have to be a coordinated person to do it good. I am actually returning this phone after having it for only 3 days has anyone else had these problems?
