BB Curve 8900 :: How Can I Add Korean Language To Device?
I've got my blackberry from my sister.So she's already chosen the language.unfortunately, she didn't choose korean.
and i really need to type and read in Korean.So anyone can help me with my problems? how can i read and type in korean after she set the device into only english and Chinese?

im a 9360 user, i seted up for east asain language pack through blackberry desktop. however i only can read the laugages not typing. so i downloaded the all language pack from rim but my mac can't install it.could please let me know how i can set up using korean for input and display language

I've been playing around with it for hours but I can't seem to find a foreign language support. I do business w/ korean clients so this is really important to me. Korean fonts appear as bunch of squares. What can I do to read Korean fonts either on website or email? Also, how can I type Korean or Japanese? Is it even possible?

Xperia Mini/pro :: Adding Korean As Writing Language?
I have a Danish SK17i with build 4.1.B.0.587. It has stock ROM and is rootet. What I want to accomplish, is to write Korean, but I do not want to change menus etc to Korean. I have tried a number of keyboard apps from the Play Store, but none of them support the SYM key and the globe key on the hardware keyboard (and some didn't support HW keyboard at all). I've also tried changing the HW keyboard as described on xda dev [URL]. Is there a way to add Korean to the writing languages of the stock keyboard, or do I need a custom ROM?

I was hoping somebody could help me out finding a way to get Hangul on my phone, or at least flash my U700 to get the Korean firmware on my phone. BB Device Software :: 8900 Arabic Language Support
i just bought a blackberry 8900 with arabic support and arabic input support as well.i connected me 8900 to my laptop and got a prompt for device software update which i did.now i am unable to view pages in arabic or write arabic language. the new software doesnot support arabic language, i checked with the desktop software as well. is there any way i can get arabic support as well as arabic input support.

My BB has 5 input language. When I changed input to EN, FR, DE or TH (Thai), the icon on top right changed to the language I chose.But the characters show in all English.
BB Curve 8900 :: Switch Input Language
So basically I must have pressed Alt and Enter and the language options came up. I cleared that screen and now every time I go to type whether in an email, bbm, sms, or my browser I have a little EN box in the top right hand corner of my screen. And it's pretty darn annoying. How do I get rid of this? I've tried doing a battery pull, connecting my phone to my desktop manager on my laptop and unticking all the languages apart from UK English. And yet it is STILL there. It is driving me quite insane

i have the language icon showing in the top right corner for the 8900 & not i cant get rid of it, i know how it got there but the same method wont get rid, i know some other users are having the same issue for the bold & storm but the options they have to get rid of it arn't displayed on the 8900, any ideas?!

I just got my phone today (my first BlackBerry, actually!), and things were smooth until I got to setting up the e-mail. Despite everything else being in english, the setup for the e-mail is in Spanish... How in the heck do I change this to english?

This icon just appeared today, (I think maybe my daughter turned it on somehow) and I can't figure out how to turn it off. It is an icon that says EN in the top right corner of the display when I go to type anything. I looked in options --> language and didn't see anything that would let me turn it off.

For some reason, the 'input' language has started to appear in the top right hand corner of the SMS composition screen. Ever since this has happened, my text message function hasn't been working properly - people have said that they have been receiving my texts as a series of symbols and squares, and I can't send anything if the cursor is on a word not recognised by the dictionary. My partner has the same phone as me, and I've checked that our settings appear identical, but I am the only one experiencing these problems!

BB Curve 8900 :: Unknown Device Found But Couldn't Install Device Properly
I woke up this morning with my blackberry turned off, I tried turning it on and the red led light just came on then came off. I tried connecting to my computer and I wasn't being recognized at all, I took out the battery and tried again. This time is said unknown device found but couldn't install the device properly. I tried to manually install the drivers but no luck. The phone will stay red when connect to my computer but will pause and try to connect again
I also was trying to follow the steps to rebooting the OS using APP LOADER but can't USB connection isn't even in the drop down menu. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? Thanks.
BB Curve :: Can't Get Past The Device Language Selection Screen
This is my first Blackberry. It's a Curve 9320. I switched it on, and it comes up with Device Language Selection Screen with English (US) and a down arrow, and an OK box. Nothing I've tried gets me past this screen. I would prefer UK English, but either English would do if I could use the phone! The paperwork that came with the phone seems to assume you know how to use it. Searching the Blackberry site hasn't come up with anything useful.

My friend has a Blackberry Curve (Verizon). He wants to input Korea text.I remember posting on how to input Korean. He did exactly that. BB Curve 8900 :: 3G Possible On Device?
So I know the curve 8900 doesn't come with 3G, but someone told me it's possible to turn it on and the option is hidden somewhere in the setup. Is this true? If so, does anyone know who to crack into this and turn it on?The main reason I ask is because my browser loads really slowly, I'm on t-mobile btw, not sure if that makes a difference. The pages also don't load fully and some images and videos don't load at all. Wondering if 3G will help with this.

What does UMA mean on the BlackBerry Curve 8900? I know it's possible to make phone calls using the wifi connexion.. but my question is, how does it works? These minutes are counted on my cell phone plan? is it like regular data, so the phone calls are free of charges? What's the UMA advantage, is it possible to make long distance call or international call for cheaper (or free?).

I've bought an BB 8900 curve from Orange Romania with a data plan for BB.I don't know how to use the gps and bbmaps. On the book, at gps technology, it says that to go in the phonemenu at option>advance options>gps. after i activate the gps, on the book, it says to switch the application to bbmaps but i don't have that option.In the phonemenu at advance option in have bbmaps but i don't know what to do with it.
