BB Curve 83xx :: Can Send MMS Pics But Not Videos?
Jan 1, 2010
On my 8330 i can send mms pics just fine but when i try and send videos it says the file is too large. i have tried sending full videos about 2 min and videos only about 5 seconds. How do I fix this?
I am trying to figure out a way to force the camera to store pictures on the SD card instead of on the internal memory. I have read previous forum posts and I don't have the options that it is asking for. It says to BB -> Options -> Store Pictures -> change to card, but I don't have the options to Store Pictures. I am using version 4.5.0.186 as per service provider. Can someone please help me.
the media player does not work on the bb browser. everytime i click on "watch video" or "stream video" on Internet or tinytube, nothing happens. i click, and the media does not show up at all.i have a bb curve 8330 os 4.5.0.186, it was working fine for 5 months, until acouple days ago.is there a solution to this prob? i have a data plan and i love watching Internet videos, and it suks now.
Well I have a black berry the I use on the boost moble network and its a sprint network and it is a 8330. - wanna knw how to set uo my black berry to watch full screen not a lil screen.
i've never had this problem until recently. i'll go to Internet's mobile site, perform search, etc. and when i go to click on the video, nothing happens. the browser doesn't open the media player at all. i've tried with my native browser and evn with opera mini, which ultimately requires the native browser anyway. i don't remember changing any particular settings on my browser so i couldn't imagine why i would have this issue. any help would be appreciated. just to reiterate, i don't even so much as an error message. nothing happens at all when i try to play the video. it just stays on the same page.
Problem: Boost branded 8330 not sending or receiving MMS. When I attempt to send MMS the message appears to attempt to send but ultimately fails and displays a red x next to the message. What is working: Everything else. Internet is working fine, I can send pics via email.Steps taken to attempt to fix during 6 calls to Boost customer care: The reps I spoke with had me provision the phone again, pull the battery out while the phone was on. Deleted the Transport and Client MMS service books and provisioned. Steps I have taken: Checked for service book updates, and registered the host routing table. Countless battery pulls. I searched the forums and couldn't find any other threads addressing MMS problems with Boost branded 8330's specifically. Tried sending smaller pics. My phone does display 1XEV, and under service books I have MMS Client & MMS Transport (when I look at the MMS Transport, the gateway IP shows all zeros). I've had users on almost all other carriers try to send me MMS.I've checked MMS options and message reception is enabled.
I have a blackberry curve 8330. I have been able to send picture messages and audio but now i cannot. I know the pictures are not too big and the audio isnt either because i have sent these same ones to people before but for some reason i am not able to successfully send them now, all i get is an X next them in my text list.
I have a bb 8330 and I noticed that it takes forever to send pictures, and I mean forever. Probably about 2 minutes. Dont let me send more than one mms or email with pics at a time because it may take about 10 minutes for them all to send. This has never happened with my old palm centro, where sending a pic was instant. Just curious if something is wrong with my device, or is this normal.
i tried googling this problem but to no avail. my blackberry crashes (shuts down with a black screen and red light, reboots with hourglass and then verifies security software) every time I try to download a theme for example, or send an mp3 via bluetooth. let me know if i need to provide any more information.
Hello. About three days ago, I received a refurbished 8330 from Verizon because the one before that was stopped working properly (different story). I have since then registered the phone to the internet network (Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table) and I still cannot send/receive e-mail through my Blackberry.net registered e-mail address.
I know on Google phones, you have an option to be able send a particular contact str8 to voicemail when they call without it ringing, are you able to do such a thing with the BB curve?
I'm new to the BB 8330 and I used to have a Palm and i know when I would receive or send a pix msg there would be an option for MMS.. Now onto my BB I have now with Sprint.. I can't figure out how to send pix msgs with pix that I've taken and are in my phone. As well when someone sends me a pix message I have to go to the wed on my phone to receive it?
Is there a way for to send a bunch of SMS messages 'conversation' that are in the same thread to another person?I want to send the conversation to another person but it only seems to let me send one SMS at a time.
My Stats: Blackberry Curve 8310 on AT&T NO Data Plan I have done my research and after about a week of searching I have not been able to come up with an answer Before I knew that my 8310 was not able to get WIFI I deleted my TCP Settings.I re entered my TCP Settings with:
After these settings have been restored I am still unable to send and receive a picture message. Things that I have tried: Battery Pull Uppercase and Lowercase entry for my TCP Settings I considered doing a factory reset but I don't want to lose my brickbreaker high score
Has anybody opened the camera app in their iPhone 4? I know this signal issue is causing a stir, but im very curious to see real pics taken with the new phone, are they better looking than the competition?
And, if anyone has taken some pics of the phone with Digital cameras in macro mode that would be nice to see, i always do photo-shoots of my new tech
Is there a way to go in and pick which pics or videos to transfer from the phone to a PC without having to import everything again? I've connected the phone to the PC but I don't see any of the pics or videos listed. I would like to go in and just transfer the newest stuff without having to go through the entire import process again.
Is there a way to change the default location (currently Phone memory) where the videos and pictures taken, get saved ?What happens when the phone memory gets full ?I dont want to imagine that I have to move alla the content from the phone memory to my PC , and then back to the SD card.
So I just got the phone last week from a blackberry and have stuff that is now more visible on the HTC where it was never before (highlight reels and gallery views)
Switching from a Google Nexus 5, where I used the Photos app (which i think has ties to Google+) solely. I liked because sync was in place and I could easily go on my photos.google.com and see the pictures there too (and share them).
Now it seems that with the Samsung Galaxy S6, the camera app writes to Gallery. I looked under the Application Settings for Photos and Gallery and neither one has Defaults setup, so I am not sure IF there is a way to force the Camera to use Photos, or force their "Messaging" (not Hangouts) to use Photos. It seems that when you use Messaging and identify a Photo manually from Photos, that it wont attach it, since it isnt ALSO in Gallery.
So I installed Google Messenger to test that vs the Samsung Messages. The Google Messenger, cant see the pics in Photos either! wild.
I took pictures this past weekend that mean alot to me and tonight my daughter deleted all of my pics and video's on My iphone4 that I had not sync/backed up yet this week. Can I get them back some how?
As the title says all my images and videos are now no longer within the captured folder when you go into photo's, I have tried deleting all of the _PAlbTN folders, also factory reset the device, still nothing there, any ideas on what I can do to get these back in the captured folder?Otherwise it seems a pointless feature if every firmware update you lose all the data captured over the months since the last update, I have also tried copying all in the camera album over to the PC and put back onto the phone mass memory. It's doing my head in now, I have trawled the forums to find information but nothing. I have a lot of other items on my mass memory which I have accumilated from over the years and transferred to each new phone I get, got something in the region of 2500 images and videos, on the mass memory stored in the traditional way, where E is the mass memory etc: E:Images200610200610A0 Instead of the new way i.e. E:ImagesCamera200910200910A0
Do the files (images and videos) get assigned new tags to allow it to identify them as being taken on the device, my viewby month folder is also not working.
I picked up my new S6 from the Sprint store yesterday. I almost have all of my parameters set, outside of my pics & music from my S4 Mini . The guy at the Sprint store supported me with the contacts, and also put all of my music/video/pics onto the 32G Micro SD that I installed in the phone about 18 months ago.
I have the Micro Card, the Micro SD adapter to regular USB for my PC. I've made separate folders on my PC from the card---Video-Music-Pics, but there's some stuff I'm not familiar with that shows up as well.
My question is, what mode does my new S6 need to be in when I transfer this stuff to the phone?
I will say that some of the music (I have a LOT) wasn't set up very well in my S4 Mini and thats my fault for being in a hurry, but it did what I wanted it to do. I have the S6 plugged into my PC via charging cord/USB, and the Micro SD is in another USB port on the PC---
When trying to import pictures and videos from the S5 to Windows 8 desktop, I connect the USB and then right click "import pictures and videos" button.
However, Windows goes through all of my music first (which takes a while) before it finds my pictures and videos in order to download.
Any way to tell windows to skip searching through music files during this search? Just go straight to music or videos.
